In terms of cash management, no closing and opening of shifts is required which makes shift changes and reallocation of cash floats easy. Also, secure cash-ups can be done at any time and are made easy using the Cash Denominations screen.

Back office reporting
The Pastel software can also be integrated seamlessly with the back office accounting packages, Pastel Xpress or Partner. Such integration provides the business owner with even more control & insight into their business because the reporting functionality becomes more detailed. For example, a daily sales report will now show the date and time per transaction which means that busy trading times can be noted and the necessary staffing arrangements made. Other back office functionality includes supplier processing, account payments, viewing customer age analyses and statements.
